It Takes A Village: Tiny Houses, Big Voices

Youth Spirit Artworks Tiny House Empowerment Village is a transitional housing program for Transitional Age Youth ages18-25. The Village has been open to East Oakland Youth since February 2021. Every Tuesday evening the Youth featured in the book would gather for a Creative Writing Workshop with their facilitator Zoe Mosko. It Takes a Village: Tiny Houses, Big Voices is a book created and curated by Youth living at the Tiny House Empowerment Village in Oakland, CA. The book features written entries expressing their creativity and releasing their past journeys. On November 4th, we will gather at the place where it all started for a night of music, food, and community. Youth will read their entries and will be available for book signing.
